805escrow was founded in 2017 by Galen Callahan and Sergio Gonzalez, after years in real estate where deals were often handed off, reassigned, and treated as someone else’s problem. They built 805escrow to operate differently—where every file is owned, and every detail is accounted for from open to close.

We’ve chosen a more deliberate model. Every transaction is handled by a single escrow officer who remains responsible throughout the process. No handoffs. No gaps in communication. No confusion about who’s accountable.

We don’t chase growth at the expense of the file. And we don’t introduce systems that distance the work from the people responsible for it. Every number is reviewed, every step is tracked, and every detail is handled with care.
